About me
Hi, I’m Kathryn! I am a freelance graphic designer and artist based in Wilmington, North Carolina. After graduating with a BFA from Ohio Wesleyan University in 2001, I started my design career in publishing at Welcome Books (now owned by Rizzoli) and Penguin Random House. In 2007 I moved from New York to Philadelphia where I was a graphic designer at The Franklin Institute and local non profit organizations. While I love working with typography and print layout, I also adore drawing and painting!
In 2015 my first coloring book was published with Little, Brown and Company and in 2018 I teamed up with Fodor’s Travel to illustrate two city guides (Berlin and Mexico City). My books include Colouring History: The Tudors, Ghost the Christmas Stag, and 'Twas the Night Before Tudor Christmas. You can find these and more on Amazon. My recent illustration clients include Thalian Hall Center for the Performing Arts and Tudor Places Magazine.
I’m originally from Connecticut and have found my home in various cities along the east coast of the US. I love to travel, especially to my spirit country of the United Kingdom.

Frequently Asked Questions
What services do you offer?
In addition to selling my art products here, I also offer custom design and illustration services. I have a background in print design and love putting those skills to use in printed marketing materials such as Annual Reports and School Magazines. I also work with customers to create custom portraits and scenes ranging from whimsical maps, house portraits, and favorite film or book scenes.
How do I get started?
Getting started is simple. Reach out through the contact form or email kathrynholemanart@gmail.com. I’ll walk you through the next steps and answer any questions along the way.
Where do you ship?
I currently only ship to the US, UK, Canada, and Australia. However, I can update my shipping settings to accommodate your location if you live elsewhere. I live in the US and tariffs are tricky so unfortunately I can’t ship to many places in the EU.
